Group of Choir

The Mass Choir

Comprised of adults of all singing ensembles of the church. This Choir leads and supports the congregation and ministers in song at the 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Sunday Worship Services and as scheduled by the Minister of Music on Christmas, Easter and for special occasions and events in the life of the Church. Its repertoire encompasses a range of gospel music including cantatas, anthems, Negro spirituals, hymns and other sacred selections.

The Praise Ensemble

is a group of adults committed to serving the Lord through music. Specializing in both traditional and contemporary gospel music, this choir ministers in song every 2nd and 4th Sunday at the 8:00 a.m.. worship service and for special occasions and events in the life of the church as scheduled by the Minister of Music.

Butler men who sing in the church

The Heavenly Bound Voices ( Men’s Choir)

is comprised of Butler men who sing in the church’s primary choir and also serve in various other ministries. This choir ministers in song every 2nd and 4th Sunday at the 11:00am worship service and on special occasions such as Father’s Day and Men’s Day scheduled by the Minister of Music.

The W.P. Johnson Children’s Choir

is comprised of children ages 5 through 12. This choir ministers in song every 4th Sunday during the 11:00am worship service and for special occasions and events in the life of the church as schedule by the Minister of Music.

This choir is open to all young adults ages 13-21.

Group of Girls

Praise Dance Ministry

Offers praise to God through dance. Acknowledging their bodies as temples “holy and acceptable unto God,” the forms of dance range from group dance to individual interpretive dance. The dancers are styled after traditional or contemporary dance. This ministry is open to youth and adults.
